  • How is the bag locked? (For versions with lock only)
    To close the bag with the lock: Secure each zipper puller in each lock slot (the top hole of each puller fits into each slot). Press the zipper puller into the slot one at a time.
  • How do I set the lock code? (For versions with lock only)
    If since you received the bag, you have not yet established the first code, you can do so by following these steps: 1. With the lock in the 0 0 0 Position, push the reset button (a) in with a pen until you hear a “click” sound. The reset button is located on the side of the lock. 2. Next, turn the dials (b) to your desired personal combination. 3. Then push in the button (c) at the front of the lock and you will hear the reset button “click” again. Now you have finished setting your personal combination. 4. Check to be sure the button at the front of the lock releases the zipper tabs and moves freely at your desired combination. 5. Before turning the dials to lock the bag, write down your combination and put it in a safe place. Also, you can repeat the above steps to reset your combination.
  • Does the Fireproof Bag cause irritation and itching?
    No way! The Trikton Fireproof Bags are designed with Silicone-Coated Fiberglass to prevent them from causing itching and irritation.
  • How long does this bag withstand under high temperature?
    It depends on different factors. It is not the same as the bag is on the outer edge of the fire that in the center, since the temperatures are different in each case. Even the steel can melt depending on the temperature reached and the exposure time. The average house fire burns at a temperature of about 1,100°F (593°C) and our bags withstand about 35 minutes at this temperature. The softening point of the fire protection bag is 15 seconds at 2,000°F (1,093°C). It can withstand 10 minutes at 1,800°F (982°C) and can be used at 1,400°F (760°C) for about 30 minutes. These exposure times are usually enough to grab the bag and get out in an emergency.
  • Is it necessary to put the bag inside a safe?
    Inside a safe, the bag will last longer, so if you have one we recommend putting the bag inside to have an extra layer of protection, also taking advantage of the fact that the bags are flexible. If you do not have a safe, we recommend storing the bag face down, close to the floor.
  • What kind of water-resistance does the bag have?
    The bag prevents the water from reaching the interior for example in the case of rain. It was not designed to submerge in water, so please do not sink it in there.
  • How is your Returns Policy?
    If you're looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for a different product, or a refund to the original payment method. We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy: Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This period includes the transit time to us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the times it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). If you need to return an item, please send us an email to info@trikton.com with your order number and details about the product that you would like to return for exchange or refund. We will respond to you quickly with instructions on how to return items from your order. All shipping to us must be pre-paid and insured. We will not be liable for lost in-bound packages. Our policy requires that products accepted for return be clean.
